![]() ![]() The Man-at-Arms is a seasoned veteran of combat, and has been rewarded for his toil with haunting guilt and stoic resilience in equal measure. As long as the Man-at-Arms stands, he will never allow the line to break. At camp, the Man-at-Arms can take time to instruct and practice with others, giving efficient information and life saving instruction. With his vociferous shouting he can issue vital commands to his men or let out a terrible bellow to strike fear into the enemy's heart. The battlefield is a chaotic place, and the Man-at-Arms knows how to make himself heard. His ability to read the enemy's movements allows him to draw fire to himself to defend his allies and then retaliate with surprising force. However it is not offense, but his defense, that makes the Man-at-Arms such a vital member of any team. While he can no longer swing his great mace with the force he once could, you should not stand where he swings his mighty weapon. ![]() Virtuous heroes will refuse to be anchored by "Heave to!".An old, battle-scarred veteran, the Man-at-Arms has seen enough war and bloodshed to last more than a dozen lifetimes. Blight and bleed can still finish the Anchorman off if they are applied before it has a chance to use its "Heave to!" ability.īe aware that if the Anchorman manages to use "Heave to!", it will restore all of its health - while killing the Anchorman before it can move is a viable strategy at lower levels, at Champion level, the Anchorman's PROT buff makes it harder to pull off. While it has a hero pinned, the Anchorman will not take any turns (much like the Hag's Cauldron or Prophet's Defensive Pews) - as such, it is effectively immune to blight and bleed (since it never takes actions, damage-over-time effects will never proc). When the Anchorman is defeated, the Crew will lose its buff. ![]() The hero will remain immobilized until it hits either 100 or 200 stress, or the Drowned Anchorman is slain. Additionally the Anchorman will transfer its buff to the Drowned Crew, and they will heal every turn as well. The hero will still be able to take their turn normally, but they will be unable to move and will take stress damage during every action. ![]() After it uses "Heave to!", it will lock a hero in place. When summoned by the Drowned Crew it will have a buff that grants +50% to PROT, Bleed Resist and Blight Resist and +25% Stun Resist. ![]()
